A Call for a Boycott of Porky's!

BOYCOTT PORKY'S! The only thing right about this place is the name. None more fitting could describe the peice of shit bruce bateman is.

BOYCOTT PORKYS!

Why???

http://www.saipantribune.com/newsstory.aspx?newsID=73744&cat=3

Glen, Lil, Jeff, et al ... that have said that I was being harsh, yes I am!

This is infuriating.

FROM THE PORK'S MOUTH: When it comes time to mark your ballot inside that closed voting booth, you must vote for those persons and initiatives that have the best chance to improve your lot in life and that of your family and country. “No” doesn't improve anything. “No” is just a blind cry against change. I will vote “Yes” for the Saipan Casino Act because I think it is in my family's best self-interest to have a better economy. I believe it is in your families' best self-interest to do so as well so I ask you to please vote “Yes” this coming Saturday.

And not one attempt to address even one concern or question.

GO TO HELL! YOU MONEY GRUBBING SCUM!

I will boycott you on priciple and I will encourage other to as well.

I am so disgusted with Brucie! I was hoping he would come to his senses. I am all for the boycott!

Me too.

I have been boycotting him since you tossed up the question a few days ago. After the article you linked today I will start asking people to support the boycott the same way he is asking for "yes" votes.

I have just confirmed that he is being paid by NMDIC as a campaign PR consultant. What a terrible one he is. At least he has been consistantly terrible in his promotion of the SCA.

I guess he figured if John Anderson could land a Koosh job with Bridge Capital after helping out with their Prop B campaign on Guam he would also have the same luck.

I hate to break it to Bruce Bateman, but he is a loser and no one would ever hire him.

John Anderson is a much better person and that is why even after the act failed to pass in Guam Bridge Capital hired him on full time.

even after all that has been said over the last weeks about the Saipan Casino Act, how can Bruce in his right mind endorse the act... sad day... I thought Bruce would have come to his senses like Jeff.. a sad day indeed...

Ugh. If he's voting because he believes that it will better his lot in life, then all the power to him.

People voted for Dubya because they believed that voting for him would better their lives. People voted against him because they didn't believe that.

It's how people vote. Boycotting Porky's based on how he votes is just ridiculous.

That being said, I have no opinion on the Saipan Casino Act. I haven't been following Saipan news closely enough to have an informed opinion.

But again, it's his choice. Instead of calling him a "piece of shit", perhaps you could find a way to more effectively combat his arguments then resorting to name calling.

I am not boycotting Porky's because of his personal decision to vote yes. I am Boycotting him for his public stance deciving the voters in order to gain more yes votes on this initiative without ever addressing the harmful effects that have been pointed out with the Act.

You can read up on my past posts for more details. I am much to irate at the moment.

so how did you confirm that he's being paid by the casino act people?

If his public stance is what I've read in his article, then really, he's just presenting an argument of his beliefs.

I don't see how this is "deceiving the voters". If someone against the Act presented a clear and concise argument against it, would it be seen as "deceiving the voters" in order to gain more No votes?

I think it's all just a matter of opinion.

Following your logic: We are all entitled to our own opinions.

That being the case, it is my opinion that anyone that gives a damn about the fate of the CNMI and the ill effects the passage of this act will have should BOYCOTT PORKY'S.

I will let others decide for themselves if they feel the same way.

I have stated my case as I see it. They can do the same. You have decided not to boycott. No problems there.

Thanks sincerely for your comments.

My decision to boycott porkys in an attempt to inflict financial harm upon bruce is no different than his decision to support the SCA that will inflict financial harm on the entire population of our islands.

Chime in if you feel differently.

I am not forcing people to boycott I am asking for their support of my boycott by doing the same.

I am fighting fire with fire.

I am playing his game.

I am abiding by his rules.

So far 9 out of 13 people who answered my poll are doing so as well.

Let us boycott the bill, not Porky's.

Let us stick to the heart of the issue.

Let us remain germane...

and Plato, my friend, let apology be repaid where it is due...

for what is the difference between you and Bruce, if you did not stick to the issue ipso facto?

I was told by a friend when I pulled up at Porky's the evening of the Pro-SCA fundraiser they were having in there. I had it confirmed with Pete.

I guess you could use the argument that it is like someone taking money to put together an Advertisment for a political Party. But I think that what bruce is doing goes well beyond that.

Anyhow, their money is not being spent wisely. He in my opinion is not doing a good job in addressing any of the concerns.

What's with this boycott Porky thing? Heck, I have never been to Porky's but it now looks like I will boycott it also just because the owner is supporting an initiative that will be destructive to Saipan.

Brad Ruszala said...

not that i don't believe it to be possible, but "i heard it from a friend" is a pretty weak way to "confirm" something.

now, a copy of a paycheck or a copy of the accounting showing funds going out to senor dela pork would count in my book.

...just trying to be more fair and balanced than fox news...
